MANAGING VOICE CHAT
For Parent-Managed Meta Accounts, voice chat is not available in POPULATION: ONE.
- Players using Parent-Managed accounts won't be able to talk to or hear other players and parents cannot grant them access to voice chat.
For standard accounts, please follow the steps below:
If you've given POPULATION: ONE access to your microphone, you can voice chat with other players on your team or in the pre-game lobby.
To mute yourself or other players during a play session, you can do so using the in-game controls.
- During a match, press the trigger button on your left controller to bring up the mini map
(if you have set your controllers to be left-hand dominant, use the trigger button on your right controller)
- This will open the mini map and a list of all the players you can currently communicate with using voice chat.
- Next to each player (including yourself at the top of the list), you can toggle voice chat on or off. Players who you have muted will also be unable to hear you speak.

REPORTING MISCONDUCT
If you encounter a player who is breaking our code of conduct or otherwise harassing you, it's good to report them so that we can be aware of the situation and help ensure the POP1 community is a friendly and safe place to play.
To report a player, follow these steps:
- Press the Battle Menu button on your left controller to bring up the Battle Menu:
- Click the "Players" button to bring up a list of players currently in the game with you
- In the Players list, click on the Report button to report that player
(the Report button is also available on the players list next to the mini map)
- Follow the prompt to fill out the details of the report, then click SUBMIT when you're done
(Please note that it may take some time to assess your report before we're able to respond)
- You can also use Voice Chat muting and Ghost toggles to turn off voice and visuals of any player who you want to limit your interactions with.
